Grout is Porous. TRUE.
Because of its porous state, grease, dirt, and urine salt can penetrate grout, leading to staining and odor-causing bacteria. Envision uses cleaning products that penetrate the grout to eliminate the cause of discoloration and odor.
When You Seal Grout, You Don’t Need to Maintain It. FALSE.
Sealed grout helps prevent some absorption of elements, but it must be maintained on a regular basis and requires some intensive maintenance annually to retain its clean, fresh appearance.
Acid-formulated Shampoos and Soaps Cause Grout Discoloration. TRUE.
Those yellow orange and pink stains on grout can be caused by the use of acid formulated shampoos and soaps. Regular maintenance with the proper cleaning products will eliminate this discoloration.
